先日オークション詐欺に遭いかけちゃった。iPhone 3GSに買い換えるために、iPhone 3Gをオークションに出したの。すると、英語でこんなメールがやってきた。（あえて詐欺者のメールアドレスをそのままにしています）Dear Seller, Im Linda Benson presently in Canada.Im highlyinterested in purchasing your item placed on YAHOO AUCTION for my son in Nigeria.I will offer 2500USD for your item plus shipment by EMS SPEED POST.Payment will be made through Bank To BankTransfer (Direct transfer to your bank account).I want you to reply me to my personal E-mail for further conversation via:-(bensonlinda_23@yahoo.com or you can chat with me on lindabebnson_23@hotmail.com) thanks要は、私のiPhone 3Gを2,500米ドル（約25万円！）で買って、ナイジェリアにいる息子に送りたいというもの。明らかにヘンなので相手を進めると、こんなオファーが。Hello, Hello Friend,how are you doing i want you to know that i have just make the payment of the 650usd for the iphone so i want you to go and make the shipment now and send the tracking number to my bank so that they can verify the shipment so once the shipment is verified then the money will be fully transfer to your account ok So i want you to do that with in today and tomorrow ok i will be waiting to hear from after the shipmentSo this is my address for the shipment after the payment as been approved.（以下、発送先の住所が書かれていた）要はお金を銀行に預けるので、iPhone 3Gをナイジェリアに送って欲しい。送ったらそのトラッキング番号とレシートをメールで銀行に送ると、送金するというもの。また、そのすぐ後、Royal Bank of Canadaを名乗る下記のメールがやってきた。
銀行からのメールもLindaを名乗る者からの内容と同じ。iPhone 3Gを送れば送金するというものだった。銀行のエスクローサービスを使うなんてもっともらしい話だけど、このメールの送信元がなんと transferdept.rbc@OfficeEmail.net。いわゆるフリーメール。銀行がフリーメールを使うわけはないよね。念のために返事してみると、ちゃんと銀行を名乗る者から返事も帰ってきた。おそらく、この手の詐欺は多いんだろうね。皆さんも気をつけて。それと、詐欺を働いているまたは働こうとしている人、やめて。まじで。
